Silver, the human known to locals as both 'the Wildling' and 'the Boy with the heart of a Pokémon' was not always a feral pack creature. He was originally born to a former Gym Leader father, Viktor, and a Grand Coordinator mother, Amelia. The pair loved their child, their only child, to such a degree that the father retired from being a Gym Leader for the sake of raising his son with undivided attention. Mother had been planning to do the same, only her retirement was delayed due to her desire for closure as a Co-Ordinator. One last tour, one last go around the hectic merry-go-round that is the life of a performer. It truly did become...their last venture together.

The family did go on a tour to other regions, with mother making an array of guest appearances at Grand Finals in each region they went to. Everything went smoothly, until they got back home; to the Sinnoh region. Father, and other passengers, noticed that there were technical issues with the carriages of the train they were riding. Just before they could be pointed out, something exploded. No one knows what, or how, but something did. That explosion would end the lives of upwards of around 42 passengers on board whether from the blast or the following horror-crash; including the loves of Viktor and Irelia, Silver's parents. When emergency services arrived on scene, all bodies alive and dead were accounted for except for one; little, four-year-old Silver. Somehow, he had went missing.

Unbeknownst to the public at the time, Silver had survived the crash as he had actually been launched out of a door before he sustained any mortal injuries, right into the territory of a local family-group of Pokemon. Rather than attack him or treat him like prey, however, they took him in, apparently recognising the toddler as a friend. Despite being human, the group of Pokemon that took him in raised him like one of their own, especially the leaders of the group; a feisty Luxray, a tender motherly Pyroar, and an older Zoroark. Who Silver is today reflects the traits of those three Pokemon in particular; Silver is instinctive, impulsive, aggressive, yet also deceptively wise, caring, protective along with curious and creative.

After some time, a number of years spent with this group of Pokemon in seclusion, Silver stumbled upon a young Gible injured and alone, abandoned by the looks of it. Normally, "mother" and "father" would see this as easy prey, but Silver did not have the heart to strike it down. He liked a fair fight, and a prize that was earned rather than stolen. The cycle continued; just as the pack had adopted Silver, Silver had adopted the Gible. He cared for it, kept it fed, helped it train its strength and power. Soon enough the pair would become inseparable, with the leaders even accepting the Gible as family despite Silver being the one to bring him in, not them themselves.

As the years went on, many things happened. Silver had earned an array of epithets amongst local human populations, with the three most popular being "The Wildling", "The Boy with the Heart of a Pokemon", and "The Silver-Maned Zoroark". The latter would prove to be what actually gave Silver his name. No one remembers his true name, not even himself, for everyone who did has long since passed away - i.e. the families of Silver's human parents. The pack would also lose members to nature, to human trainers (much to Silver's fury), but they would also gain new ones that doubled the number lost. Around four years ago, the young Gible that Silver had rescued evolved! He became a mighty Gabite, quite a large one too. About as big as Silver currently is now; having originally towered over the boy back then.

While the elderly Zoroark who once co-led the pack has since passed away, Silver continues her legacy through two ways; the first being the title that he earned after having been spotted with her in the wild numerous times, along with raising the offspring of said Zoroark; a Zorua, who more than likely will become a full member of Silver and Gabite's hunting party when she is strong enough. On a similar note, Silver is also raising yet another young Pokemon he saved; an Eevee. He originally found Eevee as an egg on the back of a poacher's truck, and after a lengthy, tiring series of conflicts, he saved the egg.

Silver, Gabite and "father" Luxray had witnessed a Poacher forcibly taking a herd of Rapidash's Ponyta younglings, even injuring the parents to do so, infuriating all three. The trio launched a quickly-coordinated attack upon the poachers in an effort to rescue as many of the taken Pokemon as they could. While Luxray and Gabite dealt with the poachers' own Pokemon, Silver quickly took down one of the poachers themselves, and in the process stumbled upon an egg within a container. To avoid more danger, he took the egg and managed to free the Ponytas taken from their herd. The event was mostly a success, save for the minor injuries sustained by Silver, Gabite and Luxray.

It would become evident that the rescued egg was actually very close to hatching; it would regularly kick and wobble, with even small noises audible from within. Within a week, the egg would hatch right on Silver's lap, leaving a tiny, infant Eevee in his care. The new hatchling would immediately imprint on Silver, creating an unbreakable bond between the two. In the span of a few months -- maybe months, Silver struggled with timekeeping -- two young Pokemon had came under his care, a Zorua and an Eevee. Although, it would seem that Zorua was particularly prodigious in its growth; within two months of Zoroark's initial passing, Zorua itself would evolve to become one...but the evolution has proven to be too early. Zorua, now a Zoroark, often loses control of itself as it is still getting used to its new and sudden boost in raw power, to the point Silver was injured after one rampage in particular.

Zoroark's self-control has improved greatly in recent weeks, but it still has a long way to go. The main method of it learning such self-control is its frequent accompaniment of Silver and Gabite's hunting party excavations and scouting trips along with either Luxray or Pyroar, depending on whose "shift" it is to guard the family den.
